14th December,  when the veteran actress smita patil left the world but she has been remembered by Yusuf Qasmi who founded smita patil street theatre on her name and started performing street plays on social issues since 1989.

Till date the group has performed more then 12000 street plays on 23 different social issues.

The group remembered smita patil  by completing 6600 show  of street play” ANTH ” based on drugs addiction at chatrapati shivaji mahavidalaya ,and Byk college Nashik in the presence of the college principal Shri Dhanash Kalal sir ,our supporter Satish Pagariaji  of Arena Animation Nashik .

The  event was participated by Amol kasliwal, Tushar Bankar,Sunny Nikam, Sahil Bagwal, Vaishali Deo ,  Yusuf Qasmi ,Ayesha Qasmi and Pravin. B.Shaikh.
