Mumbai, 17th October’16: Rising star Thakur Anoop Singh unveiled his wax model amidst glitz and glamour at Westin Hotel, Goregoan along with Sunil (Fame: Celebrity’s Wax Museum Lonavala). This is the first model that Sunil has carved of a Physique Sports Athlete. Anoop is also the second Indian Sportsperson after Kapil Dev to be immortalized in wax at the Wax Museum.
An eclectic mix of celebs and socialites were present to cheer Anoop for his remarkable achievements in this short span of one calendar Year.
While some people inherit stardom, some achieve stardom with their hard work, dedication, constant effort and willpower to be successful and make a mark in their lives. Anoop is one of them, born to be a star; but this is one success that did not come to him easily.

Anoop lives with his family in Mumbai. His father and elder brother are renowned lawyers practicing in Bombay High Court. Therefore with no godfather in the film industry the struggle was imperative, arduous and exasperating.
Initially he trained to become a pilot at The Dowling School of Aviation, New York. But a recession in the airline industry affected his job prospects. So he decided to pursue acting, something he had always loved. After 129 rejections in Auditions, he bagged the role of Dhritarashtra in Mahabharat serial, which however took 2 years to go on floors. Meanwhile he played Hanuman in Ramayana (2010) and then played several parts in historical and mythological shows. 2 years later, he earned fame playing Dhritarashtra in Mahabharat which was a hit in 25 countries.
